There’s a survival element to tackling Once Human‘s many challenges and overwhelming odds. As a larger, multiplayer adventure, many fans are curious if they’ll have the chance to jump into the game with their friends and if there’s co-op.
It’s a valid question and something you want to know before you play the game. The earlier you and your friends can start working together to create a camp in Once Human, gather resources, and tackle some of the tougher enemies, the more you will have a chance to dive deeper into the game. Co-op games also allow you to work together with friends, rather than always fighting other players.
Does Once Human have co-op multiplayer?
We can confirm that Once Human does have co-op multiplayer. This is a possibility if you’re looking to get into the game and want to play with friends. Because Once Human is a free-to-play game, all players must have it downloaded on their machines before joining each other.
You go about playing with your friends by joining the same server. Make sure you choose to play on a PvE server if you want to work alongside your friends. You can do this after you’ve created your server, and choose what server you want to join together. You can see what phase the Once Server is in, the population of the server, and your character’s level in the server selection menu.
You should communicate with your friends as early as possible about which server you plan to use at the start of the game. Unfortunately, if you choose the incorrect server and your friends want to go to another one, or the population is too high to support everyone, you must make a new character. This means you need to remove the character you’re playing as, start over with a new one, and begin the process over again.
If you have friends, it might be easier to start at the beginning, and it could make Once Human more engaging, but you want to make sure you communicate this early with your squad.
