Players are eagerly waiting for Honkai: Star Rail version 2.4 to go live so they can get their hands on its new banners and content, but ahead of the update, there have been quiet changes to the cast that some players may have clocked.
The official Honkai: Star Rail website confirms that the voice actor for Argenti and Mr. Tail has been replaced. According to the site, the new voice actor for Argenti is Talon Warburton, and little heliobus Tail is now voiced by Aaron Veach.
Argenti is a five-star playable character in Honkai Star Rail, and Mr. Tail is an NPC who’s also a part of Huohuo’s Ultimate in Honkai: Star Rail. Both characters were voiced by Adam Michael Gold, who, on July 29, addressed the situation on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Although the actor didn’t dive too deep into details, he expressed his gratitude for having the opportunity and privilege to bring two amazing characters to life, which left a lot of players and fans sentimental.
“Argenti is one of my fave characters in the game and you gave him life in the most beautiful way. We’ll miss your wonderful performance in the game so much Adam, thank you for being so amazing,” a player commented on Adam’s post.
The new voice actors have big shoes to fill. Considering the upcoming version takes us back to the Xianzhou Luofu ship where Huohuo and Mr. Tail are, we might hear one of the new voice actors in action soon.
