There’s only one vampire hunter capable of defeating Dracula, and his name is Trevor Belmont. Although he’s fought Dracula several times in Castlevania, he finds himself without his whip or holy arsenal as he enters Dead by Daylight. Still, he has several unique perks that make his life easier.
As a Survivor in Dead by Daylight, Trevor has a handful of helpful perks he can use during a match to help his team escape from Dracula or any other Killers hunting them down. These perks are available to Trevor, but after you prestige him, they unlock for other Survivors. We will break down every perk given to Trevor Belmont and how they work in Dead by Daylight.
How Trevor Belmont perks work in Dead by Daylight
Like the other Survivors and Killers in Dead by Daylight, Trevor starts the game with three unique perks. As you unlock more of his blood web, he gains other perks from Survivors you prestige on your account, making it easier to adjust these bonuses to your preferred playstyle. Trevor’s perks are Eyes of Belmont, Exultation, and Moment of Glory for the Castlevania crossover.
The first perk, Eyes of Belmont, gives the user the ability to get an idea of where to find the Killer on the map during a Dead by Daylight match. Whenever a generator is completed, the aura of the Killer is revealed to you for 1/2/3 seconds. Any time the Killer’s aura is shown for some time, the duration of this effect goes up by 2 seconds, making it easier to track them down as they hunt for you and your allies during the match. It’s a good way to stay on top of them and update your friends.
Next, we have Exultation, an item for any character who enjoys using held items or gear during a Dead by Daylight match. Whenever you stun the Killer with a pallet, the effect upgrades the held item rarity to the next tier and recharges 25 percent of the item’s maximum charges. Each time you upgrade the held item, the perk goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds. Unfortunately, the increased rarity does not carry over with you into the next Dead by Daylight match.
The final perk you can get with Trevor is called Moment of Glory. The perk activates after you open or rummage through two chests. After you do this and become injured, your Survivor gets the Broken effect. They automatically heal one health state after 80/70/60 seconds, and then this perk deactivates. The effect is canceled if you enter the dying state, and it won’t activate if you’re already suffering from the Broken status effect. You’ll need to plan to make the most of Moment of Glory.
Trevor gets all these perks when you purchase him and The Dark Lord from the Castlevania crossover from Dead by Daylight. You can try Trevor and The Dark Lord, the Killer for this crossover, in Dead by Daylight‘s Public Test Build before they arrive in the official game.
