Dragon Age fans had a chance to see a bit of the Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay in June, but BioWare will reveal the release date for the fourth installment in the franchise tomorow. We also got the reveal dates for other gameplay features throughout August.
The release date trailer will launch on Aug. 15 on Youtube at 11am CT. Two months after the 20-minute Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay trailer was released, BioWare shared the upcoming reveals that include the release date trailer, the high-level warrior combat gameplay plus PC spotlight, the companions week, a developer Discord Q&A, and when the IGN First month-long exclusive coverage begins.
Here are all the important dates when it comes to Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay:
- Aug. 15: Release date trailer.
- Aug. 19: High-level warrior combat gameplay and PC spotlight.
- Aug. 26: Companions Week.
Not much has been revealed about Dragon Age: The Veilguard in detail, but we already know who the seven companions are, the main characters, and a bit about how the romance system will work. The story will take place in Thedas, a place in need of a leader and a hero such as yourself. You’ll have to stop two elven gods who were freed by Solas after a ritual gone wrong.
In the journey, you’ll be able to explore several biomes and regions previously mentioned in the franchise such as Rivain, Weisshaupt, Arlathan, Minrathous, and the Deep Roads while getting to know the companions. 10 years after the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the graphics, combat system, and gameplay will be massively improved, as already shown in the gameplay trailer, and fans will learn more about it throughout August and September.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be available on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
