Best Madden 25 Fantasy Draft order

In Madden 25, one of the most fun options is building a superstar squad through a Fantasy Draft, whether you have the coveted first pick or somewhere in between. There is, however, an ideal draft order you should follow so everyone gets a chance to create a strong squad.

In any Madden draft, there are multiple types of drafts you can use that will determine how each team will pick a player every round. If you believe in true parity when it comes to drafting, though, there’s one type of draft order you must pick for your league.

If you’re building a new NFL Fantasy Draft, here is the best Madden 25 draft order.

The best Fantasy Draft order you should implement for your league is a snake draft order since it gives every team a fighting chance for a good roster. Whether you’re the first pick or the last pick in the draft, you’ll at least get a decent pick in alternating rounds due to the unique format.

A snake draft differs from a regular draft since it reverses the order of the draft for each round, so if you’re the first pick in round one, you’ll be the last pick in round two. Meanwhile, the last pick in round one will now get a chance to choose back-to-back picks. In fact, in a snake draft, one of the best draft positions to be in is the last pick since you can stack up and grab two talented players at once.

This way, there aren’t too many unfavorable positions in the draft, unlike a regular draft order where the last pick would be the worst position in the order by far.

Best draft strategies in Fantasy Draft for Madden 25

If you’re starting the first round with a top-10 pick, it might be best to get an elite quarterback to lead your offense. Players like Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, or Josh Allen could be your best bet. But if you fall out of that range, you could also snap up players like Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, Brock Purdy, or Tua Tagovailoa.

If you fall out of the top 10, however, you could also get a bit flexible with your picks, targeting a defensive superstar like Sauce Gardner or Micah Parsons or an elite wide receiver like Justin Jefferson or Tyreek Hill. Afterward, you’ll need to choose whether you’re building more for the future or contending in the present, while also picking whether you’d like to focus on your team’s defensive or offensive capabilities.

There are younger players like C.J. Stroud and Jordan Love you can build around, while also giving them powerful tools to work with. There will also be destructive offensive weapons available deep into the draft, with players like DeVonta Smith and Brandon Aiyuk who will go in the second round. Cover star Christian McCaffrey will also go in the second or third round, and he’s the best running back in Madden if you wish to focus on your ground game.

Ultimately, you need to find that perfect balance between a punishing defense and an unrelenting offense, especially if you have the entire league at your disposal.
