Earning the Ghost title in a Warzone match is a tough challenge. You might have noticed player titles like Commando or Survivor over your name after a Warzone match finishes during the extraction scene, but just how do you earn them?
You earn these titles based on how you play your match. As the name suggests, to earn the Ghost title, you need to maintain a certain degree of stealth throughout the game. Here’s all the info you need to get the Ghost title in Warzone.
How do you get the Ghost title in Warzone?
You don’t need to win the game to get the Ghost title in Warzone, but you’ve got to make sure you stay low and keep quiet during the round. To do this, try to do the following:
- Use suppressed weapons (suppressor muzzle attachments) to stay off the radar.
- Avoid deaths as much as possible. One or two deaths can still earn you the Ghost title, but otherwise, avoid fights.
- Avoid incoming damage as much as possible. Avoid hot drops and starting fights. Even if you eliminate the first enemy, there’s always a possibility of getting third-partied.
Considering the goal is to play stealthily, we like to stay toward the edge of every circle and engage in a gunfight only when necessary. Running a meta assault rifle or an LMG like the TAQ Evolvere will help you get the job done easily. While the TAQ Eradicator’s been in the meta since the start of Season Five, the TAQ Evolvere offers a much better recoil control, ideal for hitting most of your shots.
The trick is to run the Suppressor attachment, so I recommend throwing on a Quartermaster Suppressor on your TAQ Evolvere. Make sure your secondary weapon is suppressed as well. For the Perk Package, our usual go-to is Double Time, Sleight of Hand, Tempered, and High Alert.
You can also go off the standard route and run Perks that help you in your quest to get Ghost in Warzone by increasing your awareness of your surroundings. To do this, swap out Tempered for Tracker to see the enemy footprints and hide your kill markers. Another perk option is the Escapist, which increases your movement speed by 20 percent.
The requirements to get the player titles also change with every CoD game, so if the Ghost title is available in Black Ops 6, we can expect the steps to differ slightly after its integration with the battle royale.
