If you love the Wizarding World, you’re going to enjoy picking up a broom and playing Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, particularly with all the awesome upcoming Quidditch events, seasons, and content set to arrive in 2024.
Here’s everything you can look forward in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions.
Harry Potter Quidditch Champions: 2024 roadmap
Fall 2024 roadmap
Season Zero: Quidditch Try Outs (Live)
Season Zero’s the launch season, which means it’s already here. In this season, you can complete various challenges to earn experience. As you level up your seasonal rewards track, you get epic rewards like a Hagrid Mask and Ron Weasley.
September 2024: Hogwarts Legacy-Themed Event
As Hogwarts Legacy has been one of WB Games’ biggest gaming success stories, it’s a no-brainer they’d want to tie as much of it into other Harry Potter games like Quidditch Champions. While we don’t know what this event will entail, it will likely involve emotes, skins, outfits, and items with a Hogwarts Legacy theme.
October 2024: Halloween Event
With Halloween being the spookiest time of the year, we expect this upcoming Halloween Event to be filled with items, icons, and clothing featuring pumpkins, ghosts, werewolves, and maybe even a sneaky Troll. However, I hope this event will feature Halloween-themed challenges and tasks for us to complete to earn rewards.
Winter 2024 roadmap
Winter, which begins in December, will bring an all-new Quidditch season along with holiday-themed events. The season and the events include:
- Season One: Defence Against the Dark Arts
- Holidays at Hogwarts Event
- Yule Ball Event
Quidditch content to be released in 2024
The development team is also currently working on Harry Potter Quidditch Champions for Nintendo Switch with a prospective release date for the end of 2024. In addition, they’re also working on creating six vs. six PvP matches.
At present, you must select two roles when entering into PvP content. You can switch between these roles as you’re playing a match, and while you’re playing one role, a bot will play the other. It’s a little troublesome. After playing several matches, I must admit switching roles mid-game and back again is stressful because each role has a particular playstyle, and it can be hard to switch from a one mindset to another. So, I’m really looking forward to being able to simply play and perfect one Quidditch Champions role.
