You must purchase and manually equip a dunk package even after you’ve met all the requirements for it. To do so, you must follow these steps:

  • Open the MyTEAM menu.
  • Go to MyPLAYER, then click on Animations.
  • Open the Dunk Style Creator.
  • Click on Save New Dunk Style to create a new dunk profile, or load an already existing profile.
  • Select the contact dunks you want and add them to your cart.
  • Open your cart and confirm the purchase.
  • You’ll be asked if you wish to equip the contact dunks immediately.
  • For already purchased dunks, navigate to the dunks and press the equip/unequip button. The prompt is at the bottom of your screen.

Contact dunks, and dunks in general, are purchasable using NBA 2K25’s Virtual Currency (VC). Certain basic packages do come for free, but simply upgrading your MyPLAYER attributes won’t cut it past a certain point—you’ll also need VC to purchase the goods you want.
