THE FINALS brings map destruction and good times with its intense FPS style, and it’s got plenty of game modes to dive into alongside it. There’s a variety of different gameshow-themed experiences to try, regardless of how competitive you are.
Here are all of the game modes in THE FINALS as of season four.
All game modes in THE FINALS
Quick Cash
Quick Cash is a classic THE FINALS mode where three teams of three players fight over vaults and cashouts to earn as much cash as possible. Reach the target goal or have the most cash when the time expires to win the game. There are no restrictions in this game mode—just pure action and fame.
Ranked Tournament
Ranked Tournament is a high-stakes, competitive version of Quick Cash. This game mode is a multi-stage tournament where, in each round, the top two teams qualify to advance. Keep cashing out and winning until you reach the finals.
Here are the main rule differences in Ranked Tournaments compared to Quick Cash:
- Earn additional cash by eliminating opponents (except for the final round)
- Lose cash on team wipe (except for the final round)
- No gameshow events
- No in-round item swapping from Reserve loadout
- Limited respawn credits
In the Ranked Tournament, you match with players of a similar skill level, determined by rank. The better you play, the higher will be your rank, and the more rewards you can unlock for playing Ranked Tournaments.
World Tour
The World Tour is a larger game mode introduced in season three and is a mix of Quick Cash and Ranked Tournaments. Every week, there’s a new World Tour stop with a unique set of rules, maps, and more.
As you play through tournaments, you accumulate points to earn exclusive rewards. It’s a more casual mode, so you can earn rewards without sweating and having to win multiple tournaments in a row (although that helps).
Power Shift
In Power Shift, two teams of five battle over one moving platform. It’s basically a tug-of-war where one team pulls the platform to their side by standing on it while the enemy team tries to reclaim it. The winner is the team that brought the platform to its destination or progressed the furthest by the end of the time limit.
Terminal Attack
Terminal Attack might look familiar if you’re an experienced FPS player. Two teams of five players, attackers and defenders, fight over a Terminal in a round-based match with no respawns. Attackers must deliver the Decryption Key to the Terminal and take control of it, while the defenders must prevent them at all costs.
The game mode is similar to what you can see in competitive FPS games, like CS2 and VALORANT, but with THE FINALS‘ twist of unending destruction.
Bank It
For mindless shooting, try out Bank It. There are four teams of three who earn cash by securing vaults and eliminating other players. Collect the coins and cash them out until you reach the required amount to win.
While it sounds similar to Quick Cash, you don’t have to focus on holding objectives. Cashing out is as simple as interacting with the cashout for three to four seconds. Target vaults, players who carry lots of cash, or just shoot anything that moves. The choice is yours.
