Best 7 ADC to pair with Yuumi in League of Legends

Yuumi is an extremely polarizing champion in League of Legends. While she’s arguably one of the most original champions to ever be seen on the Summoner’s Rift, she’s also possibly the most annoying one. And to properly utilize her kit, she needs specific AD carry by her side.

The cat support was wreaking havoc in League back in 2022, 2021, and 2020. In those years, Riot was unable to balance the champion, making her a perma-ban or insta-pick in almost every professional tournament. Luckily, in 2023 the developer introduced some much-needed changes for the support, which also nerfed her.

If you still want to play Yuumi, not all is lost, fortunately. The support is still viable in solo queue and can provide tons of utility and, more importantly, damage if paired up with proper champions. So, without a further ado, here are the best marksmen to combo with Yuumi in the bottom lane.

Best ADCs with Yuumi synergy in League of Legends

Tristana

We begin with an ADC who’s rather new to the bottom lane meta. That is because Tristana has usually been associated with the mid lane, but her latest changes not only forced her to shift towards the bot lane, but also elevated her prowess there. The duo currently has a staggering 55.53 percent win rate in Emerald+ rankings, according to a League stat site, U.GG.

Tristana is a late-game monster who’s able to dive in and reset her mobility if she gets a kill. With such kit under her belt, having Yuumi on her back to boost her damage is a perfect idea, and judging by the duo’s win rate so far, it pays off. However, we expect its early game to be quite rough, so make sure you’re playing it safe if you pick this pair with your friend.

Nilah

With Tristana we mentioned how Yuumi shines when paired up with an aggressive marksman. Therefore, you should be hardly surprised to see Nilah here, who boasts 53.13 percent win rate with the cat support in Emerald+ ranks.

While Nilah has a lower range than most ADCs, her passive ability and all-in ultimate make her a perfect ADC for Yuumi. The latter can both provide healing for Nilah, which will then be multiplied by the marksman’s passive, and damage with her ultimate. Such an explosive wombo combo has seemingly endless potential if executed properly. Similarly to Tristana’s pairing, though, you need to watch your back in the laning phase. Falling behind early may be fatal for your mid and late game chances.

Lucian

While the previous two ADCs can’t be their best during the early game, Lucian is someone who’s perfect for early fights. His E dash and passive that fires two auto attacks instead of one after the use of each ability make Lucian the perfect skirmisher in both the laning phase and mid game. With the support of Yuumi, he’s provided with some much-needed sustain and further damage. The duo can easily dominate the game early and snowball it all the way to the finish line if they’re given enough space.

As of now, Lucian and Yuumi combined boast a jaw-dropping 55.24 percent win rate, according to U.GG.

Zeri

Like we mentioned, Yuumi was one an overpowered champion who was either permanently banned or instantly picked, especially by the pro players. With that in mind, it’s only poetic to have another similar champion, Zeri, be a great fit for Yuumi. Both of them currently sit on a 51.76 percent win rate in Emerald+ ranks, according to U.GG.

Zeri itself isn’t a great ADC in the current meta, since she’s often outmatched by other ADCs in the laning phase, and thus can’t snowball into the late game as strongly as she would have liked. With Yuumi by her side, though, Zeri can survive the early game and has additional fuel in the tank in the later stages of the match. On top of that, both champs are mobile, so you’ll be a pain in the neck to pin down for the enemy team.

Corki

Like Tristana, Corki is also seeing a resurgence in the bottom lane. The Bombardier has dominated mid lane meta for years, though, his reign was finished by the developer with substantial changes in the middle of season 14. Now Corki’s one of the stronger ADCs in the meta, and with Yuumi by his side, his win rate goes up to 50.44 percent win rate, according to U.GG.

By this time, you probably get the idea of which champs are the strongest when paired up with Yuumi. Like others above, Corki is mobile, has a powerful mid game, and struggles with the early game on his own. These areas are where the cat support can have the most impact, so it’s all but surprising to see them perform so well together.

Vayne

Still, Yuumi can turn powerful late game hypercarries into true monsters of the game, and that’s the type of duos we will be focusing by the end of this list. One of such marksmen who’s perfect for a Yuumi bottom lane is Vayne.

The duo currently sits on a 49.98 percent win rate, according to U.GG. While that’s not impressive on its own, we believe it’s far from surprising. The current meta favors quick games, while both Vayne and Yuumi want to make it to the late game. There, Vayne’s damage and mobility should be unmatched with the cat support on her back, especially if the former’s player knows the ins and outs of her kit. Certainly a duo to keep an eye on.

Twitch

For the final entry we have Twitch. It’s quite fitting to have one of the strongest ADCs duos to be made up of cat support and rat marksman, isn’t it? Either way, the duo have currently recorded a 50.15 percent win rate, according to U.GG. While it’s not that massive, the case is similar to Yuumi and Vayne.

Twitch is best when he’s got around four items under his belt and can sneak with his Q behind the enemy lines. If he can do so with Yuumi and implode both of their ultimates upon the opponents, it would usually mean game over. However, executing this sounds easy but is actually quite tough, and with Twitch having no escape tools, it’s risky, but worth it if executed properly.
