The Medium build in THE FINALS is the most versatile class. Armed with assault rifles for medium range, shotguns for close range, and a couple of more unorthodox options, there’s a wide range of weapons to choose from when heading into the Arena.

6) AKM

The starting AKM assault rifle is a jack of all trades. Decent up close and at medium range, has 36 rounds in the mag (which is quite a lot), and has a quick reload speed. The only downside is a sharp recoil, making fighting at longer ranges challenging. Still, it’s a solid weapon to use at first as a Medium player, especially if you get a sight on it.

5) R. 357

For snappy shooters out there, there’s the R .357. The weapon relies on your pure aim and how well you can put bullets into the opponents’ heads. While it doesn’t have the range it used to, leaving room for other weapons to shine, it’s still a powerhouse as long as you’re quick with the draw. It’s a fairly hard weapon to master, but it will surely be worth your time once you do.

4) Model 1887

The Medium build has a few close-range options, and Model 1887 is the best. It’s a lever-action shotgun with high damage and range, making it incredibly deadly in the right hands. Three shots are enough to deal with the Medium build, and a double shell reload ensures the weapon is always loaded. One of the few Model 1887’s downsides is a slower fire rate. You must pace your shots and be precise, especially when outnumbered, but in a one-on-one scenario, the enemy doesn’t stand a chance.

3) FCAR

FCAR requires more precision than the AKM. With higher damage, range, and accuracy but lower mag and fire rate, landing every shot is vital to securing a kill faster than with the AKM. The FCAR has a similar recoil pattern to the AKM, and once you learn it, the FCAR becomes truly unstoppable in the Arenas.

2) FAMAS

FAMAS‘s ease of use beats most assault rifles in THE FINALS. It’s a burst weapon with low recoil, which means landing your shots has never been easier. It may have slightly lower damage than FCAR, but the fire rate easily makes up for it. Whether the enemies are up close or farther back, FAMAS is the perfect weapon to take on all of them.

1) CB-01 Repeater

Introduced in season six, the CB-01 Repeater is reminiscent of the old R .357 when it comes to damage potential. High range and damage paired with a speed loader when your mag is empty makes this lever-action rifle the ultimate tool in Medium build’s arsenal. Much like with the revolver, though, you must hit your shots, as the fire rate is only slightly higher than the Model 1887.
