Can you fix EA FC 25 beta not working?

The EA FC 25 beta is finally live, well—sort of. The first proper test for EA’s newest soccer sim has already gone a couple of early goals behind as the beta is having difficulties, so let’s see if it can be fixed.

EA FC 25 is the second iteration of the world’s biggest-selling soccer title since it rebranded. The first entry was a safe start, but EA FC 25 is looking to step things up by welcoming new features to Career Mode, as well as introducing FC IQ.

The first exposure to EA FC 25 is the initial beta. Most versions of EA FC (previously FIFA) have had a beta in recent years, but the newest one isn’t playing ball. Let’s run through everything we know about EA FC 25‘s beta.

Currently, the EA FC 25 beta isn’t working and can’t be fixed, and despite endless complaints from eligible players, EA has yet to respond to the ongoing issues.

The EA SPORTS FC Direct communication page hasn’t commented on the situation, nor has any official statement been issued (at the time of writing.)

EA FC 25 beta players are currently met with the main beta screen, but none of the game modes are available to play: Career Mode, Ultimate Team, or Clubs.

Worse still, a temporary solution was discovered requiring you to turn your console’s wifi off and on again and it alleviated the issue—temporarily. It wasn’t convenient, but it was a workaround, and this isn’t working anymore.

Right now, all we can do is keep checking the EA Sports FC 25 General Discussion forum for updates—or a new fix—on how to access the beta and keep refreshing the EA Sports FC subreddit for any hopes of an update.

Keep checking back and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest on the EA FC 25 beta problem. Until we have anything new, be sure to check out how to play the full release of EA FC 25 early, as well as if women feature in EA FC 25.
