Prapor’s got another quest for you in Escape from Tarkov. This time, important documents have gotten loose with key intel on TerraGroup, and he needs your help in chasing down the details—which, of course, comes heaped with danger.
Here’s how to complete Bad Rep Evidence in Escape from Tarkov.
Escape from Tarkov: Bad Rep Evidence quest guide
There’s one objective for the Bad Rep Evidence quest in Escape from Tarkov: Obtain the Secure Folder 0031 from the Portable Bunkhouse on Customs and hand it to Prapor.
You cannot start this quest until you have reached level six in Escape from Tarkov.
You aren’t getting into the Portable Bunkhouse without the key—and Prapor’s not just going to give you the key for free! You’re going to have to buy or find the key.
1) Getting a Portable Bunkhouse key
Before you start the Bad Rep Evidence quest, you’ll need a Portable Bunkhouse Key; this’ll allow you to access the room where the secure folder lies. Therapist offers this key as a barter trade, but it will cost you one Vita, one Milk, and one TP.
You can also buy the key from another player at the Flea Market—expect to pay upwards of 50,000 Roubles, depending on supply and demand. Alternatively, the quest offers an optional mission to obtain the key from the Factory emergency exit room on Factory, but many have reported the key’s spawn chance to be very low, so it’s recommended you barter for it instead.
2) Finding the secure folder in Customs
Once you’ve got a Portable warehouse key, it’s time to grab that folder. Start a raid in Customs and head to the center of the map along the main road. You’re looking for two shipping containers stacked on top of one another in the yard of the semi-destroyed factory building—it’s across the road from the bus station and the road that heads to the Dorms (which you may be familiar with if you’ve ever completed Golden Swag or Operation Aquarius Part One.
This is the portable bunkhouse where you’ll need to use your key. A set of stairs leads to the top container where there is a door to be opened. Inside on the desk is the secure folder—grab it and run as this part of Customs is normally swarming with Scavs and PMCs.
3) Extract and turn in to Prapor
All you’ll have to do now is extract the folder and turn it in to Prapor and the mission is complete. You’ll be rewarded with 4,100 EXP, 35,000 Roubles, a PP-91 submachine gun and magazine, and 120 rounds of ammo for the PP-91.
Like many other retrieval missions in Escape from Tarkov, if you go down without extracting the folder, you’ll need to start over—including acquiring the Portable bunkhouse key again—so take your time when exiting the map as you won’t want to start over!
