How to complete Villainy Wears Many Masks in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Halloween has descended upon Disney Dreamlight Valley—no doubt thanks to the work of Jack Skellington—and there are many unique spooky tasks you can complete for rewards like Villainy Wears Many Masks.

Some of the Halloween tasks give you direct hints in their titles as to what you need to do, and while Villainy Wears Many Masks does somewhat point you in the right direction, it’s still rather vague which can make this a tricky quest to finish. This is one of the simplest duties to complete once you figure out what needs to be done, so here’s how you can check off the Villainy Wears Many Masks task in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To complete Villainy Wears Many Masks, you need to equip any mask on your character. You can do this by opening your Inventory, navigating to the Wardrobe, and selecting any Mask from the Masks section. Make sure you select Masks and not Glasses since only the items listed under the Masks category count for this task.

While this task in itself is easy, the tough part is ensuring you have a Mask available to wear. This category has the fewest assets of any clothing item, so there’s a decent chance you don’t have one ready to go. Luckily, there are some different Masks to choose from and most of them can be obtained in different ways which means you can certainly start working on unlocking one in time to finish the Trick or Treat Halloween event.

There are seven different Masks you can equip for the Villainy Wears Many Masks tasks. Some of them are Premium Shop items, some are unlocked by completing friendship quests, and some were previously available in past Star Path events.

Here’s a breakdown of all your Mask options and how you can acquire each one.

After you equip a mask for the Villainy Wears Many Masks Dreamlight Duty, you’ll be rewarded with a Purple Trick or Treater’s Bounty. This is a furniture version of the interactable candy buckets you can open to get Red, Purple, and Green Candy.

The 2024 installment of the Halloween event is live until Nov. 1, so it’s crucial you get to work finishing this task and other ones like Sugar Rush, A 3-Course Halloween Meal!, and Trick or Treat if you want to earn all the available rewards. Make sure you’re also trying to finish The Night Show Star Path duties as you go since this event also ends around the same time.
