Hidden alongside the cliffs of Hallowfall in World of Warcraft: The War Within, there’s a Smuggler’s Treasure chest containing pickles and a way to boost reputation.
Quickly leveling to 80 within WoW: The War Within (TWW) is a top priority for most players, but there’s more to do than grind the campaign quests. Reputation within areas is also important, earned by completing odd tasks and quests. Some tasks are hard to find, though, like slaying the Beebiter. You can earn Hallowfall Arathi Reputation in WoW through a well-hidden chest called the Smuggler’s Treasure in the Hallowfall zone. Here’s how to find the key and open the treasure.
Where is the Smuggler’s Treasure key in WoW The War Within?
Alongside the Aegis Wall in Hallowfall, in between Mereldar and Tenir’s, there’s a key you’ll need to unlock the Smuggler’s Treasure chest. The key is close to the chest and neither item is marked on the TWW map.
The key to Smuggler’s Treasure is located on a corpse, a dead Arathi at coordinates 55.36 and 51.62. There’s a grassy area and a bush near the cliff edge where you’ll find the body. Click on the body to read the smuggler’s last note and obtain the key.
Where is the Smuggler’s Treasure chest in WoW The War Within?
The Smuggler’s Treasure chest in TWW is directly above the smuggler’s body on the mountain’s edge. Hop on your mount and fly to coordinates 55.16 and 51.86. You must trigger the gear icon twice; the first trigger inserts the key and the second time opens the chest.
Opening the Smuggler’s Treasure chest rewards a Jar of Pickles as loot. But the main prize is an increase in Hallowfall Arathi Reputation by 150.
Next to the Arathi corpse in Hallowfall is a quest called Everyday I’m Snuffin’.
How to get to Hallowfall for the Smuggler’s Treasure in TWW
The WoW expansion, The War Within, features four zones. Rather than expanding outward, the zones are built on one another. Traveling to a new zone requires going down. The easiest way to get to the zones is through a Flight Path. Once you’re in the zone, a mount will provide access to everything within. The recommended levels for Hallowfall in TWW are between 75 and 78.
