You can find several unique quests as you explore Remnant 2, going out of your way to help the handful of people you encounter during your travels. While exploring N’Eurd in The Dark Horizon DLC, a robot requires repairs and needs you to track down specific items to rebuild them.
The robot appears close to the beginning of the DLC. The robot requests that you bring them to the repair bay, which can take some time to find. After you place it back inside a suitable chassis, the robot needs you to find three additional items for its full repairs. You can expect to travel through multiple areas of this region to find them all. Here’s what you need to know about where to find the Prototype Arm, Claw, and the Memory Core in Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon DLC.
Where to find the Repair Labs in Remnant 2
The first step for this quest in Remnant 2 is to bring the Prototype Head to the Repair Lab. Shortly after you find the Prototype Head, the Repair Lab is in the Agronomy Sector. You can use one of the gliders to reach this location faster than you usually would. Follow the path forward from the Gardener after getting the D.H. Transit Glyph until you reach the Anterior Recess checkpoint. From this checkpoint, continue on the path. There’s a large platform with two gliders on it. Take the glider on the left side and drop down to the left.
This should lead you to the Repair Lab, where you can begin working on the damaged robot. If you speak to it, it should share with you the exact parts it is missing and what you have left to track down in Remnant 2. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide hints on where to find them.
How to find the Prototype Arm in Remnant 2
The Prototype Arm is the easiest to find of the three items to help repair the robot. You can find it by going from the Anterior Recess checkpoint in the Agronomy Sector, and rather than taking the glider on the left, choose the one on the right. Head straight down with your Remnant 2 character and swoop to a platform immediately before the glider. In the back, there will be an elite enemy protecting this area.
After defeating the foe, the Prototype Arm should be on the ground as a key item you can pick up. You can choose to bring it back to the robot immediately or choose to do so when you have all three items.
How to find the Claw in Remnant 2
The Claw is the next missing piece you can find. You can locate it in the second area, in the Withered Necropolis. It’s more out of the way for you to find, but a notable point of interest makes tracking it down much easier. From the Gardener, who is at the entrance of the Withered Necropolis in Remnant 2, make your way to the left and find the glider on this side. Using the glider, go to the partially destroyed bridge and land on it. Several enemies will be awaiting you along this path, but proceed to the left.
When you reach the end of the path on the left, a partially destroyed robot is stuck in the wall. It should be holding a glowing object, which is the Claw. Like the Prototype Arm, you can bring it back to the Repair Labs to give to the robot or wait until you have all three items on your Remnant 2 character.
How to find the Memory Core in Remnant 2
The final item you need to repair the robot fully is the Prototype Memory Core. Tracking it down can be challenging, as it is more out of the way than the other two items, but it’s still in the Withered Necropolis. You can use the bridge point of interest where you found the Prototype Claw and look for the platform to the left of it.
You need a glider to reach this platform, and it is lower than a bridge, making it tricky to pick out. After you arrive on the platform, get to the back area, where you can find a Memory Core sticking out of the deceased robot. After you have it, you should have all three pieces, and you can return to the Repairs Labs to complete this quest in Remnant 2.
