Sojourner of Hallowfall is one of the four major Sojourner achievements you can earn in The War Within, and it’s easily one of the harder ones because it requires completing 15 World of Warcraft storylines before you get any rewards.
Here’s how to finish those storylines in The War Within and unlock the Sojourner of Hallowfall achievement in WoW.
How to earn the Sojourner of Hallowfall achievement in WoW The War Within
To earn the Sojourner of Hallowfall achievement in WoW, you must complete 15 storylines in Hallowfall. Once you’ve completed each, you’ll earn the Sojourner of Hallowfall achievement. If you haven’t started any, here are all the questline starting locations.
1) An Orphan’s Dilemma
You’ll start the An Orphan’s Dilemma questline by speaking with Alyza Bowblaze in Mereldar’s Orphanage, roughly at the coordinates 42 and 56. The first quest you’ll accept from her is called An Orphan’s Request, and there are five quests in this particular questline, including:
- An Orphan’s Request.
- A Bloody Inheritance (You can accept the next quest at the same time).
- Gutting the Pool.
- Vae Victis.
- A Final Goodbye.
2) Apart for Purpose
You can start the Apart for Purpose storyline by speaking with Orren Masyn to accept the quest, A Helping Farmhand. Orren can roughly be found at the coordinates 49 and 62. There are four quests in the Apart for Purpose questline you need to complete, and they are:
- A Helping Farmhand.
- Regularly scheduled maintenance.
- The Sword is Mightier.

3) Light to Velhan’s Claim
The Light to Velhan’s Claim questline begins when you accept the Lights Out quest from Aegor Irynbawnd, who can be found to the east of Priory of the Sacred Flame roughly at the coordinates 49 and 41. This questline has 10 quests for you to complete, and they include the following:
- Lights Out.
- Cage, Match (The next quest can also be accepted at the same time).
- If it leads, it bleeds.
- Situational awareness.
- Spears for fears (The next quest can also be accepted at the same time).
- Reclaiming Velhan’s claim.
- Teach a man to fish.
- Crash recovery (The next quest can also be accepted at the same time).
- The one that got away.
- Lamp lit.
4) Crushing Depths
The Crushing Depths questline will begin when you start the quest Targeted Recon, which you can pick up from Joseph Brayvemarc, who can be found in Mereldar roughly at coordinates 42 and 55. There are six quests for you to complete in this questline, and they include:
- Targeted Recon.
- Gasping plea.
- Tidal charms.
- Voices from the Deep.
- Alluring offer.
- Return to the sea.
5) Lost in the Darkness
You’ll begin the Lost in the Darkness questline by accepting the Seeds of Evil quest from Aliya Hillhelm, who can be found to the west of Light’s Blooming, roughly at coordinates 61 and 30. There are only three quests you need to finish to complete this questline, and they include:
- Seeds of Evil.
- Follow Miral.
- Save Timothy.
6) Memories of the Sky
The Memories of the Sky questline will begin when you accept the Runway Scare-a-way quest from Maera Ashyld, who can be found northeast of Tenir’s Ascent, roughly at the coordinates 60 and 60. There are only five quests to complete in the Memories of the Sky questline, and you must be level 80 to start it.
The five quests to complete in the Memories of the Sky questline includes:
- Runway Scare-a-way (You can accept the next quest at the same time).
- Torching Lights.
- Time Lost.
- Time Found.
- Time Borrowed.
7) Rest at Last
You’ll begin the Rest at Last questline once you accept A Concerned Friend from Val Thalvassa in Dornogal on the Isle of Dorn, roughly at the coordinates 51 and 46. This quest will conclude in Hallowfall. The quest chain also requires you to be level 80 to start, and the five quests you must complete include:
- A Concerned Friend.
- A Moment to Rest.
- Lost Pieces.
- Crowdsourcing.
- Light’s Gambit.
8) Striking Steel
Striking Steel is a questline with 10 quests. To start it, you need to accept the quest Economical Request from Aurelia Steelstrike, who can be found in the tent near the training grounds in Mereldar, roughly at the coordinates 41 and 53.
All 10 quests you must complete in this quest chain include:
- Economical Request.
- A Batty Request.
- Does Anyone Like Wasps?
- Regular Fiber.
- Underground Economics (You need to wait until your next daily reset to start the next quest).
- Spice Up Your Life.
- Eagle Eye, Eagle Die.
- Full Dress.
- Cooking With Style (You earn the Striking Steel achievement after completing this quest).
- A Home Cooked Meal (But if you complete this quest, you’ll get Beledar’s Bounty recipe).
9) Suspicious Minds
The Suspicious Neighbors questline begins when you accept the quest, “For Morale,” from Lerrenai Fayn, who can be found south of Light’s Blooming, roughly at the coordinates 68 and 44. And there are only two quests to complete in this questline. Some players have reported there’s a third quest, Prove One’s Mettle, you have to complete in this chain if you’re a dark class like a Death Knight or a Shadow Priest. As I’m a Shaman, I only had to complete the first two quests in this quest chain to get the Suspicious Minds achievement.
With that in mind, all the quests in this quest chain include the following:
- For Morale.
- Suspicious Minds.
- Prove One’s Mettle (Only for dark classes).
10) The Last Mage of Hallowfall
The Last Mage of Hallowfall questline begins with the quest The Last Mage, which you’ll accept from General Steelstrike in Mereldar at coordinates 41 and 51. There are five quests to complete, and they include the following:
- The Last Mage.
- Arcane Trickles.
- Arcane Experiments.
- A Murderer Most Foul.
- Finding Justice.
11) The Mysterious Chef
The Mysterious Chef questline contains four quests; you can start this questline by speaking with Dolena to accept the quest Something Earthy. Dolena can be found near Light’s Blooming, roughly at the coordinates 70 and 33. However, to start this, you first need to accept the “Hungry in Hollow” quest from Haelmut Aegisaxe, roughly at the coordinates 48 and 39.
All the quests you must complete, plus the pre-requisite quest, are as follows:
- Hungry in Hollow (pre-requisite quest).
- Something Earthy (start of the Mysterious Chest quest chain).
- Something Not Ruined.
- Enough Garlic.
- Sous.
12) The Priory
The Priory is an 11-quest long questline and begins with the Wipe Away Their Smiles quest. Start this quest by speaking with Baron Sybaestan Braunpyke on the Veneration Grounds, roughly at coordinates 31 and 56. You’ll also need to accept The Brothers Braunpyke quest from Vaelisia Steelstrike (coordinates 41 and 51) as it leads you to the Veneration Grounds and the brothers.
So, the 11 quests, and the pre-requisite quest you must complete include:
- The Brothers Braunpyke (This is the pre-requisite quest).
- Wipe Away Their Smiles.
- Stave The Off.
- Dreaded Dreadfang.
- Go to the Priory.
- Sweet-Sting Infestation.
- Memorial Wine.
- Burning Reflections.
- Missing Somebody.
- Sacred Flame Inquisition.
- Priory of the Sacred Flame A Brother’s Grief.
13) The Sky’s the Limit
The Sky’s the Limit questline begins when you accept the quest Care Package from Barahl Lynflayme, roughly at the coordinates 69 and 44. This is south of Light’s Blooming. There are five quests you must complete to finish this questline, and they include the following:
- Care Package.
- The Notebook.
- Height Club.
- Gone with the Wind.
- A Principled Principal.
14) The Weight of Duty
The Weight of Duty questline only contains three quests, and you can begin this questline by speaking with Endiri Dawnsurge in Mereldar, roughly at the coordinates 41 and 52, to accept the Dereliction of Duty quest.
All the quests in this quest chain include:
- Dereliction of Duty.
- Fishing is good for the Soul.
- Burnout.
15) What Grows in the Dark
What Grows in the Dark begins when you accept the quest Status Report from Captain Trueflame, who can be found south of Light’s Bloom, roughly at the coordinates 70 and 45. There are only five quests to complete in this questline, and they include the following:
- Status Report.
- Seek the Lost.
- Stem the Flow.
- Mow the Masses.
- What Grows in the Dark.
Once you’ve completed all 15 quests, you’ll receive the Sojourner of Hallowfall achievement! The achievement itself doesn’t grant you anything, but the quests along the way each gives plenty of gold and reputation toward the Hallowfall Arathi, so completing them is definitely worth your time.
