Black Myth: Wukong’s second chapter area features an array of Buddha heads strewn around the desolate land. Here, you can collect Buddha Eyeballs, and knowing what to do with all of them can be a confusing battle of futility.
The hostile world of Black Myth: Wukong has enough danger and weirdness going on without you having to worry about lugging around six large eyeballs. Strangely, if you find all six Buddha Eyeballs, this is the case in Wukong.
Chapter two’s eyeball fixation is finite, but the Destined One faces the dilemma of what to do with them. Fortunately, we’ve seen the light (with all six eyes), and we’re here to tell you what to do with Buddha’s Eyeballs. Note: The answer may scare you if you’re not prepared.
Where to use Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong
You need to use all six Buddha’s Eyeballs on a rock found in the Stone Vanguard boss arena to unlock a secret optional boss called Shigandang.
Here’s a quick run-through of what you need to do to bring the boss to life:
- Reach chapter two of Black Myth: Wukong.
- Round up and collect all six Buddha Eyeballs.
- Go to the Stone Vanguard boss arena—pretty much next to the “Rockrest Flat” Shrine.
- Look for a large stone half-sticking in the ground on your left as you enter the arena (our guide’s main image highlights this for you.)
- The rock gives you the option to “Deliver” if you have all six eyeballs.
- Press to do so to trigger a cutscene showing the rock awakening to become the secret Shigandang boss.
Black Myth: Wukong establishes early on beating bosses is the foundation of progression. A ton of Wukong‘s fearest foes are optional, including the hulking, Geodude-looking Shigandang.
I’d say he’s on par with the Stone Vanguard in terms of difficulty (maybe a bit tougher) and shouldn’t give you the trouble the likes of the chapter’s Tiger Vanguard or Yellow Wind Sage do.
