Mario and Luigi Brothership releases on Nov. 7, 2024, having been announced at the June 18 Nintendo Direct.
While Nintendo hasn’t confirmed a release time for Mario and Luigi Brothership, Nintendo titles always release at midnight local time, so you can get your hands on it when the clock strikes midnight in your region.

From what we’ve seen so far, Mario and Luigi Brothership seems to have fun new movement and platforming ideas, unique combat mechanics, and the signature cartoonish humor that the Mario and Luigi series is known for.
This is promising, given this is the first Mario and Luigi game not developed by AlphaDream, a developer with close ties to Nintendo that filed for bankruptcy in 2019. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed who the developer behind Mario and Luigi Brothership is, but it’s likely some of the team from the original series is on board.
What platforms will Mario and Luigi Brothership be available on?
Mario and Luigi Brothership is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. This isn’t a surprise, as this is usually the case for Nintendo titles. Whether this game will be available on the Switch’s successor, however, remains to be seen.
