Until we get more concrete information, we predict ReFantazio will release at midnight local time, meaning you can play the JRPG when it hits midnight in your region. If this is the case, those in New Zealand will get to play first.

Previous Atlus games, including Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5, have huge fanbases, so Metaphor: ReFantazio is sure to attract attention from those fans when it launches—especially as it has a social system. You don’t need to be a Persona fan to get hyped for this game, however. ReFantazio looks right to be right up general JRPG fans’ street.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, making it one of the few big releases this year to arrive on last-gen consoles. Unfortunately, Switch owners will need to sit this one out.
