Don’t be alarmed, Call of Duty gamers. Your account probably hasn’t actually been reset to level one.
A Modern Warfare 3 error has reared its ugly head this afternoon, and it appears to have set player accounts to level one. The Minot Hawthorne error has popped up before, and a similar issue happened earlier this year.
As players attempt to log on this afternoon, they are met with the Minot Hawthorne error code and account progression totally lost. When this happened the last time, however, the bug was fixed and progress was restored.
Currently, Activision has not acknowledged the issue just yet.
