As players continue to take the court and explore the new additions to NBA 2K25, the developers have been busy making more changes behind the scenes to create a smoother gameplay experience for all in Patch 1.4.
Patch 1.4 will be releasing for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC players on Friday, Sept. 13, and will bring multiple different solutions to ongoing problems across The City, MyCourt, MyNBA, MyTeam, and beyond. This update will not include a much broader set of fixes and improvements that will go live in a patch prior to season two.

There aren’t any major changes being made to the game in NBA 2K25 Patch 1.4. Instead, the 2K developers are fixing up and ironing out all of the wrinkles in the current game so everyone can experience the entire game without any issues.
Gameplay
- Fixed issues where players were not being subbed when on extended hot streaks.
- Fixed issue where Takeover Meter drops to tier one if already at tier five when team chemistry meter is full.
The City
- Fixed user-reported frame rate problems in Elite, Rise, and Beach Courts.
- Multiple Squad Finder issues fixed.
- Shut It Down feature fixed in Streetball Co-op matches.
- In the Track exploits fixed.
- Fixed disconnect issues when playing with NBA players in MyCourt.
MyNBA
- Arenas appear correctly when playing with historic teams at home.
- Expansion teams have proper floor when playing in NBA Cup matches.
MyTeam
- Fixed disconnect issue that occurred at the start of Showdown and Salary Cap games.
PC
- Fixed issue that caused Sim to Next Appearance in MyCareer to fail when playing on monitors with high refresh rates.
- Fixed issue causing long loading times during launch.
