Where to find Orta, The Broken Mountain in WoW The War Within
Orta, The Broken Mountain is one of the four rotating weekly bosses in the City of Threads of the Azj-Kahet zone. This is the fourth zone of Khaz Algar you visit and explore, and you can find Orta, The Broken Mountain at coordinates 17.6, 34.0.
The best way to get there is by taking a portal from Dornogal to Azj-Kahet. After that, just use your mount to fly quickly from The Weaver’s Lair to the boss location in the City of Threads. You’ll find the boss standing on a giant arena-like platform.
How to beat Orta, The Broken Mountain in WoW The War Within
Before you challenge this giant monstrosity, you must form a raid group. You can do this easily by clicking on the green eye icon next to the world quest Orta, The Broken Mountain, which you get when you reach the boss location.
Once you join a raid group, get ready to fight the boss and watch out for his following mechanics:
- Tectonic Roar knocks players back a great distance and deals significant Sonic damage every two seconds for 12 seconds. Healers should be cautious of this mechanic and quick with their heals, and tanks should position themselves properly.
- Colossal Slam happens when Orta slams the ground, which causes a bunch of nature damage. You can dodge this frontal mechanic easily using Deadly Boss Addon.
- Rupturing Runes occur on the ground as red circles which stun and deal fire damage. All healers and damage dealers can easily and should always avoid this mechanic just by watching the ground where Rupturing Runes spawn.
- Mountain’s Grasp grabs nearby players and deals a ton of Physical damage. It also inflicts silence, so healers should outheal the damage taken.
The world boss itself is easy to beat, but since it has quite a bit of health, it might take some time to take it down, depending on which DPS classes you have in your raid group.
