Season 22 of Apex Legends, Shockwave, is here, and with it comes a sizable spark to the game’s map rotations: a completely new battle royale playground for players to battle through.
E-District is the newest map in Apex, and it takes center stage to begin the season in just about every mode there is. But there will be other maps in ranked and, eventually, in pubs too, and the Mixtape playlist will always have its own custom matches to worry about. So what maps can you expect this season?
All Apex Legends season 22 maps in rotation for pubs and ranked
For the first three days of season 22, E-District will be the only map available in Trios for both pubs and ranked. After that introductory period, the following maps will be in rotation for both pubs and ranked:
- E-District
- Broken Moon
- Storm Point
It’s a collection of the newest toys for all Apex players. Broken Moon remains in the rotation after last season’s massive map update which effectively rendered it completely new, and Storm Point, which also got a huge rework in season 19, returns after some time away. Both updates were very well received by the community, so the map rotation for the first split of season 22 should keep you plenty happy.

Mixtape maps for season 22 are rotating every single week, which will allow you to experience plenty of variety in the Outlands.
