The Oasis Retreat Star Path has plenty of tasks you can finish to earn Tokens and claim rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Some of these duties are quite confusing though, as is the case with one that asks you to give favorite gifts to the woman from the willow.

This task, like many of the other ones on the Star Path, is designed to test how well you know the residents of the valley. With over 100 unique tasks to finish and plenty of vague hints to solve, this one may have you stumped if you’re not sure who this clue is referring to. Who is the woman from the willow in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The woman from the willow in DDV is Mother Gothel from Tangled. In the valley, her home is the massive willow tree covered in glowing mushrooms stationed in the center of the Glade of Trust biome.

Unlike most other villager homes, this one is part of the environment and cannot be moved around. If you don’t know it’s there, you may have no idea she resides inside or that you can enter this tree which makes this a fairly tricky task to get done.

Another reason this task can be tricky is that most of the other hints in the Star Path are based on Disney film knowledge. This clue is entirely based on Mother Gothel’s home in the game since she doesn’t live in a tree in Tangled.

Give favorite gifts to the woman from the willow in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can complete the give favorite gifts to the woman from the willow task in the Oasis Retreat Star Path event by giving Mother Gothel four of her daily requested items. The Tangled antagonist is the only character who resides within a giant willow tree, so she is the woman from the willow for this task.

It takes a minimum of two days to complete this task. Every DDV character only has three favorite gifts available per day, so you can only give Mother Gothel a maximum of three of her desired presents in one day. You can break up the gift-giving process however you like, but regardless of how you do it, there’s no way to finish this task quicker than two days.

Time is based on your actual time zone, so it must become the next day for you before here favorite items will be refreshed. Even though you might be tempted to try and finish this task as quickly as possible, time travel is a game-breaking feature in DDV, so it’s always best to just wait instead.

Once you have given Mother Gothel a total of four presents, you’ll receive 20 Tokens to spend on the Oasis Retreat Star Path. This is the highest amount any one task can grant you, so this is a great one to complete for Tokens since it just requires a bit of patience and minimal effort.
