The second Fortnite Marvel season is upon us, bringing back several old characters and items alongside some things completely new. Here are the biggest changes you should expect in Fortnite Chapter Five, season four, Absolute Doom.
Biggest changes in Fortnite Chapter 5, season 4 Absolute Doom
New POIs
A new Fortnite season means new locations to explore, and with Doctor Doom being in the middle of attention, there are new villainous POIs on the Island. You can find Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft on the northwest side of the map. As always, expect new bosses with new Medallions overseeing these locations.
Alongside new locations, Doctor Doom’s minions are now taking control of the Island. You can down these enemies and give them a chance to fight alongside you for the greater good.
New Mythics and weapons
To contain an Avengers-level threat, you need weapons suitable for a superhero. Alongside some of the returning Mythics and weapons, there are new additions, including Dual Micro SMGs.
Here are all of the new and returning items in Fortnite Chapter Five, season four:
- Dual Micro SMGs (with a Mythic Gwenpool version)
- War Machine’s Arsenal with a turret and hover jets
- Sovereign Shotgun (with a Mythic Mysterio version)
- Monarch Pistol (with a Mythic Doombot version)
- Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
- Captain America’s Shield
- Striker Burst Rifle
- Striker Assault Rifle
- Striker Assault Rifle
- Combat Assault Rifle
- Ranger Pistol
- Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Gatekeeper Shotgun
- Hyper SMG
- Shockwave Grenade
Some weapons also received slight balancing changes heading into Chapter Five, season four, including new capabilities to Cap’s Shield and Doom’s Gauntlets.
New battle pass and cosmetics
Of course, this wouldn’t be a new season without a battle pass and cosmetics. The Absolute Doom battle pass is packed with Marvel skins, including Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jones, Mysterio, and Shuri.
In September, you’ll also be able to unlock Doctor Doom himself through battle pass quests. These quests and the battle pass itself last until Nov. 2, when we can expect the next Fortnite season to kick off.
These are some of the biggest changes coming to Fortnite in Chapter Five, season four, Absolute Doom. For the full patch notes, make sure to check out the official blog post from Epic Games.
