Need some Heat Plasma Batteries to build even more Energy Activators in The First Descendant? You’ve come to the right place. There’s actually a really easy and fast method to get a bunch of them.
Here’s how to farm Heat Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant.
Before you farm Heat Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant
Before farming Heat Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant, ensure you’ve finished the Main Story Quest and are comfortable enough to do Infiltration Operations on Hard. Make sure you have decent Modules and a powerful weapon. If you don’t have the best Modules yet, we recommend doing this farming method with Ajax because of his shielding abilities. While you can do this alone, it’s also more effective with a friend. If you’ve got all this, read on.
How to get Heat Plasma Batteries fast in The First Descendant
Start Infiltration Operation Old Mystery in Hagios on Hard. Go with the Private option, even if you have a friend with you, because this farming method requires that you ignore your objective. Also, don’t put any kill count modifier on because they just make the mission harder for no good reason.
Go through the Infiltration Operation as you normally would until you reach the large room where you need to activate a machine that spawns those rings you must stand in. When you activate the machine, DON’T STAND IN THE RINGS. Ignore them and fight the enemies that spawn.
As you clear regular enemies, an elite enemy will spawn. Kill it to get Heat Plasma Batteries. Normally, this would be it, but since we are ignoring our objective (standing in the rings), the game doesn’t know what to do except spawn more enemies, including elite ones.
Each elite enemy you kill gives you eight or more Heat Plasma Batteries. You can only do this for up to five minutes, after which the mission will fail, but you still get to keep everything you collect.
Using our Ajax, we used this method to get 50 Heat Plasma Batteries in a single run, which is almost enough to build one Energy Activator.
