Fallout London dev promises ‘HUGE’ bug fix patch, but hotfixes are coming first

The Fallout: London mod has only been out for two weeks, but it’s been plagued by bugs since its launch. Fortunately, developer Team FOLON has announced a major patch that should fix many issues—but it won’t arrive until hotfixes have been rolled out.

On Aug. 6, on Team FOLON’s Discord, the development team addressed the community and the numerous issues that have been reported since Fallout: London‘s release on July 25. The developer promised a bunch of hotfixes and a massive patch, though, no release date for either was revealed.

“We have some big plans for the future, starting with a hotfix. This hotfix will address some crashes and include essential systems like ‘Buffout 4,’ which will be merged into the mod itself. We’ve also identified several other fixes that will provide immediate help. Additionally, we’ll be explaining certain features we added that might not have been as useful as we thought, so stay tuned for those details,” the developer wrote on Discord.

It sounds like this hotfix will address numerous high-priority issues, which could include problems like the game failing to launch. After that, “a HUGE patch that will address all the issues reported in our Discord” will be rolled out. Those who are a part of this channel and have played Fallout: London themselves should know how swarmed with glitches it is.

It’s great to hear the team plans to roll out hotfixes and a bug-fixing patch for Fallout: London, but we still don’t know when these will happen. Given how long the original mod took to create, hotfixes might be weeks away.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
