The 2024 season of the Fortnite Champion Series concludes in Fort Worth this weekend with the Global Championship, featuring a hundred players playing 12 matches over two days and a mind-boggling $2 million prize pool up for grabs.
From locally grown talent to players flying thousands of miles, this year’s Fortnite Global Championship will go down to the wire. Here’s everything you need to know about the grand finals of the FNCS this year, including participants, schedule, results, and how to watch the action at home.
Fortnite Global Championship 2024 format and players
It’s been a tight contest at the top of the FNCS, but now we’re looking to find our championship duo and reward them well: A massive $400,000 prize is up for grabs for the champion this weekend!
The grand final is held over two days of competition on Sept. 7 and 8, with six matches of Battle Royale taking place each day. Duos score points based on team eliminations and final placement in each match; the team with the highest score after game 12 will take out the championship.
Matches seven through 12 (day two) will be scored with a 50 percent bonus, so even if a team dominates day one, it’ll still be possible for a duo to make a comeback on championship Sunday. Here are the players participating in the Fortnite Global Championship this year and how they got there.
