All card types and rarities in TCG Card Shop Simulator

TCG Card Shop Simulator has hundreds of cards for you to open from packs which you can then sell back to your customers, but knowing what rarities to look for is crucial to turning a profit.

There are over 1,320 total cards you can find, split between different rarities. It’s hard to know what all the words mean if you’re trying to find expensive cards to sell in your card shop or understand the rarity system ahead of a future update that’ll make the card game playable, so learning ahead of time is crucial to not only maximizing your income, but your ability to play the game against others in the future.

In TCG Card Shop Simulator, you can buy two card packs: Normal (Tetramon) and Destiny.

You can buy a license for each pack as you unlock Shop Levels, which gives you new cards, but the chances of finding better rarities don’t increase from what we can tell by opening more expensive packs. The rarities of packs are color coded as follows:

  • Basic pack: Blue
  • Rare pack: Yellow
  • Epic pack: Pink
  • Legendary pack: Red

When you pull a card, you can get either a non-foil card or a foil card, as well as a secret Ghost Rare, for which there is even an achievement. Each card type also has its rarity, shown with text under the card’s main image. These rarity types include:

  • Normal Cards: There is no text under the image of these cards.
  • 1st Edition Cards
  • Silver Edition Cards
  • Gold Edition Cards
  • EX Cards
  • Full Art Cards: The art on these cards covers the entire card, including the text box.

Last but not least, Ghost Rare cards are also tough to find. These cards use the full art images from the previous set, but make the entire card black and shaded differently. Some of these cards from the most expensive Legendary packs can sell for up to 20,000 each—a big cash injection to any store.

You can press R on your keyboard anytime to load up your collection and sort your cards by price, rarity, or set. It’s a great way to see each rarity for yourself and what you have been idly pulling between trying to stay in business. You can also purchase an item on your phone to show off your cards in your store without anyone being able to buy them.
