For the first time in Pokémon Go Fest history, 2024’s Global event includes Pokémon that can spawn during routes for those looking to find specific Pokémon.
This isn’t the first time this has happened either, with Niantic increasing Hisuian Pokémon spans during Pokémon Go Tour Sinnoh at the start of 2024, but now Go Fest is getting in on the action with a small amount of Pokémon having an increased chance of appearing when walking around Routes on July 13 to 14 between 10am and 6pm local time.
Which Pokémon spawns more frequently in Routes during Go Fest 2024: Global?
Three Pokémon have an increased spawn chance when walking a Route at Pokémon Go Fest 2024: Global; these three Pokémon are:
- Emolga
- Ducklett
- Crabrawler
No matter what habitat you are in or the time of the day, so long as you walk a route, these three Pokémon have increased chances of showing up. Walking routes doesn’t increase the chance of finding a shiny version, though, with that still down to RNG.
Still, if you want to try and find some of the new shiny Pokémon added during Go Fest’s across the world, routes are your best chance of increasing your odds of finding at least one. The three Pokémon should spawn in any route you can find in your local area, so try to find a long one to increase your chances.
During the SInnoh Tour, I found around five shiny Hisui Basuclin from just targeting routes, so if the rates are similar, maybe you’ll have decent luck yourself.
