While VALORANT doesn’t have actual seasons, it does use what is effectively a seasonal model, with roughly six-month-long Episodes broken into a couple of months-long Acts.
With each Act, VALORANT players get treated to new content like new agents, new maps, and new modes. Each Act gives the new addition time to play with the community without overloading players with too much new content.
At the time of writing, VALORANT is hosting the first Act of Episode Nine, which began on June 25.

When is the next VALORANT Act?
According to VALORANT’s in-game timer, Episode Nine, Act One will end on Aug. 27, 2024. Considering previous trends, Episode Nine, Act Two should begin the same day after Riot Games finishes periodic server maintenance at around 8am CT (3pm CEST).
