Esports World Cup Fortnite 2024 format and groups
The Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024 events sees 16 teams of four go head-to-head, but this won’t be your normal event of battle royale action. Instead, EWC will use the UEFN Creator to simulate classic modes like Capture the Flag, Hardpoint, and Shrinking Zone teams will need to navigate to claim victory.
Groups sees the teams divided into four groups of four that will each play out a GSL-style double-elimination bracket. The two that emerge from that stage will then be seeded into the single-elimination playoffs, with a champion crowned on Aug. 11.
