The 2024 Pokémon World Championships are here and there are plenty of ways to get involved in the event, even if you can’t be in Honolulu, Hawaii. From Aug. 16 to 18, multiple games will offer free codes to celebrate the festivities—and we’ll tell you how to claim them for rewards.
Watching the opening ceremony of Worlds 2024 on Twitch reveals codes for Pokémon Scarlet, Violet, TCG Live, and Go. But if you failed to catch the opening ceremony (or only want the free goodies), here are all the ones you can get.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Worlds 2024 Mystery Gift and how to redeem the code
You can redeem a code to get a special Sylveon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet during the VGC portion of the World Championships. It’s the same Sylveon used by Tomoya Ogawa’s 2023 winning team.
The Mystery Gift code is: SLEEPTALKW0RLDS
By following these steps, you can redeem the code in-game:
- Connect to the internet and go to the Mystery Gift section in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet‘s Poké Portal.
- Go to the Code/Password option.
- Input the code.
- Get the Pokémon.
Pokémon TCG Live Worlds 2024 Twitch Drops and how to claim them
For Pokémon TCG Live, a Special Illustration Rare Pecharun card is being given out to a few trainers. We’ll be updating this section when we learn of the code.
If you’re on Android or PC, you can redeem the code easily by following these steps:
- Go to the Shop and select Redeem.
- Enter the code and select the Claim Now option.
If you play the game on iOS, you can’t redeem codes in the app for some reason. Instead, you need to go to the TCG Live website:
- Log into your account.
- Input the code and select the Submit Code option.
Pokémon Go Worlds 2024 Twitch Drops and how to claim them
Pokémon Go players can receive three unique, special Timed Research studies with different rewards for each one. The codes are available from the main Pokémon Go Twitch channel starting on Aug. 16 at 2pm CT. You need to watch the stream for a total of 30 minutes before you receive a code, which you can redeem on the Niantic Code Redemption website. The code should go through to the Twitch account in the rewards drop section after watching for 30 minutes.
