There are so many different skins to choose from in Fortnite, but not many are as out-of-this-world as the new Andromeda skin. There is, however, only one way to acquire this cosmetic for yourself, and it doesn’t involve you opening up your wallet.
The Andromeda skin was added in the Space-Touched Serenity set, which also contains the Starforged Blades Back Bling, Pickaxe, and the Galactic Turquoise Wrap. The Andromeda skin boasts an outfit that contains the beauty of the universe within, among the rest of the new skins being added to the game in Update v31.20.
Here is how you can claim your Andromeda skin in Fortnite.
Fortnite: How to unlock and claim the Andromeda outfit
To unlock the Andromeda outfit in Fortnite, you must have played Fortnite on any Samsung device at least once between Dec. 3, 2022 to August 16, 2024, or Aug. 16, 2024 to Sept. 15, 2024. If you’ve played during these time periods, the Andromeda skin should unlock in your locker by Sunday, Sept. 22.
The skins are, however, getting rolled out to eligible accounts in the days leading to Sept. 22, so keep checking just in case you’ve already been given it. If you didn’t have a Samsung device or you didn’t play Fortnite on your Samsung device during those periods, however, you won’t be able to claim this free skin.
The Andromeda outfit is a reskin of Sorina, and features her classic hooded look but with white hair, glowing eyes, and transparent skin that reveals a body holding a galaxy full of stars. It’s a look that’s sure to be a hit with the community Fortnite players that want nothing more than to show off how sweaty of a player they are with their skin.
