Marvel Rivals players have found an important setting which will make your life easier during the hectic teamfights, but plenty of players don’t even know it exists.
In a Reddit discussion, Marvel Rivals players are asking other fans to turn on their Allied Health Bar option, which causes all the allies in your team to showcase their health bar at all times. “You’re literally blind without this setting,” the player said. Those who don’t use this setting on characters like Magneto are making a crucial mistake, as they might be giving their shields to healthy enemies rather than allies who could benefit from it the most.

By default, you can spot your allies’ health by being closer to them, but you can’t see the health bar of the allies who are in the air or just far away from you. Healers do get an extra visual cue when someone goes very critical with their health pool, but most of the time that doesn’t help you as they’re just one shot away from death and enemies can burst the target down.
I tested this setting in several matches, and the difference was night and day. It massively improves game awareness, letting you identify key allies under constant enemy fire so you can react faster, support them better, and turn the odds in your favor.
While you might think that the setting only helps the healers as it allows them to prioritize their healing or shields better, it’s actually helpful with every class. The health bars allow you to understand the tempo of the game and better spot enemies who are doing the heavy lifting in their team so you can shut them down to make your chances better.
As a Duelist, you can look at your tank’s health from a distance, which lets you push further ahead into enemy territory when you know your team isn’t in trouble on the point. As a Vanguard like Magneto, you can give shields or protect your teammates who are under fire, or even act as a barrier to protect those squishy Duelists on your side to win teamfights and secure more points. Lastly, as a Strategist, it allows you to concentrate your heals on the most affected characters in your matches and even make game-changing ultimates to heal all of your team at a critical moment.

To turn on this setting, find your Keyboard or Controller menu, and then go under the Combat settings by scrolling down and you should be able to see the Allied Health Bar option. You can turn it on and don’t ever turn it off, which will be a disadvantage for you.
The small downside to turning this setting on is that you might miss a few important small things in the game like Moon Knight’s ankhs or Rocket’s B.R.B. ability, as the health bars of five allies could also act as visual clutter for some. It is definitely something you’ll need to get used to get the most out of it in your matches.
If you’re someone who feels that their team never communicates in the matches, consider turning this setting on and you will immediately get a lot of details to support your team better.
