This distribution reflects the varying ease of fast travel across the biomes, with the Forest being the most accessible and the endgame biomes less so. The logic is straightforward: In the early to mid-game phases, getting around is more challenging. While you can use some Pals as mounts or even for flying, their speed isn’t exceptionally high. Therefore, a dense network of Great Eagle Statues in the Forest helps reduce travel times. In contrast, as you progress and obtain faster flying Pals, the need for closely positioned statues is gone. Then, having fewer and more dispersed fast travel points in the later biomes aligns with easier navigation.
In my case, flying on a Ragnahawk to the northern islands in the late game made exploration very straightforward, while exploring the woods with Melpaca in the early game made discovering the world feel like a drag.
Sakurajima island fast travel locations in Palworld
The Sakurajima island features six statues, letting you travel easily between the various parts of the small island. The place features multiple Japanese-style buildings and cherry blossoms, making it an ideal place to set one of your bases due to its abundance of crude oil spots.

Feybreak island fast travel locations in Palworld
The Feybreak island is a huge place with multiple diverse terrains and it has 11 statues, which are essential to unlock and move around the island. You will have to rely on your land mounts until you disable all the aerial missile launchers on the land, which shoot down your flying pals. As there are different terrains, we’d recommend you carry both cold and hot resistant armor to easily travel around the island without facing any problems.
This is an end-game location so it is a high risk-high reward zone for the players.
