Pokémon Go has released the full schedule for the September 2024 content update, and Niantic is starting the new season off in style with tons of new events and Shiny Pokémon.
Shiny Zacian is the major highlight for September, with the debut coming from Sept. 26 to Oct. 4 in Five-Star Raids. Kyogre and Groudon also return throughout the first few weeks of September to tide players over.
With Zacian arriving at the end of September alongside a Pokémon Go event called Legendary Heroes, it seems Zamazenta Shiny will follow it with its debut shiny from Oct. 4 onwards, so players best stock up on their Raid Passes.
Other highlights for September include a few new Pokémon-specific days that seem to hint at other shiny debuts. Falins is getting a Raid Day on Sept. 8, with Raid Days usually debuting new Shiny Pokémon. However, this is unconfirmed at this time.
Oranguru and Passimian are getting a Research Day on Sept. 22, and seeing as Oranguru already has its Shiny in Pokémon Go, it makes sense to launch Passimian alongside it. Again, Shiny Passimian is unconfirmed, but as it’s getting a highlight and it’s been a year since it was released at Worlds 2023, all signs point to it getting its Shiny Debut soon.
Dynamax is another obvious highlight, with the feature making its debut in something called Power Spots. But we already knew about this following the initial teaser trailer yesterday. Shiny Wooloo and Skwovet are also a nice touch, as follow on with the Galar theme of the new season, which starts Sept. 3.
There is something for everyone, and we can’t wait for it to start.
