After her reveal at VALORANT Champions 2024, Vyse has shaken up the scene with a powerful defensive kit and unique ultimate ability, making her a premier choice for a plethora of different team compositions when she’s released as the sixth sentinel in the game’s history.
But players will have to take a quick breather and wait for her official release date, which is after the epic conclusion to Champions 2024, where the two best teams in the world will collide to etch their names into the VALORANT history books.

Vyse is officially set to join VALORANT’s live servers on Wednesday, Aug. 28, just in time for the start of Episode Nine, Act Two. She brings a ton of new abilities to the table, including a flash that can be set down and activated, a trap that slows and damages enemies, and a motion sensor trap that activates a wall after a few seconds.
After a short charge-up, Vyse’s ultimate ability summons a thicket of thorns on the ground that will completely disable the primary weapons of any enemies who are standing upon it. The area-of-effect is also massive, covering almost the same amount of space as Harbor’s ultimate ability.
