Fortnite‘s newest Pirate of the Caribbean quests are live, and one of the challenges asks players to look for a coconut to hit players to make a statement that Pirates don’t always need the most potent weapons to intimate their enemies.
Coconuts are a type of consumable in Fortnite that restores five shields. In the latest Code Pirate challenges, players have to turn them into a weapon and strike other gamers by throwing it at them—but it can be challenging to reliably find the item.
Here’s everything you need to know about Coconut’s locations in Fortnite.
All Fortnite Coconuts Location, listed
To find Coconuts in Fortnite, you need to get your hands on Forage boxes, which are spread all over the island. Opening a Forage box gets you various fruits and vegetables like apples, cabbages, and bananas, as well as the needed Coconuts.
While you have random odds of finding the coconuts after opening a Forage box, you can increase your odds by opening more boxes in a densely populated area. There are five spots that have at least ten or more Forage boxes in close vicinity, and they are listed below:
- Sandy Steppes: The desert area is a good place with many Forage boxes to find Coconuts, and it has only three to four houses that are easy to search. It’s also not a hotly contested spot, so you can quickly loot and search all the Forage boxes.
- Pleasant Piazza: This POI has many tightly knit buildings with Forage boxes. If you want to always be on the move while searching, this is the place.
- Nitrodome: South of Nitrodome you can find a lot of Forage boxes if you can avoid locking horns with Ringmaster Scarr, who patrols this POI with her NPC goons.
- Shipwreck Shallows: This is quite a heavily contested spot in the center of the map, but it’s a good place to get your hands on the Ship in a bottle mythic item. You can land on the Black Pearl ship, and inside the Ship, you will find a lot of boxes. You can also search the nearby Dock for even more boxes.
- Reckless Railways: The north of the Reckless Railways point of interest has a lot of Forage boxes inside the shops and even out the buildings on the tables, which gives you a ton of opportunity to find the coconuts.
You can stack up to ten coconuts in one of your inventory slots. This means you can carry a bunch just in case you end up missing your throws. Once you have enough coconuts in your inventory, turn on your visual audio to find enemy footsteps. Hitting opponents with these coconuts won’t cause any major harm to them, but hey, you have made your point as a pirate using coastal-themed weapons.
